You might have heard of Klensyh, but do you know who I really am? This page will tell My Story, and I hope it helps you get to know me a little better.
Welcome! I'm Klensyh
Hello! My name is Arsi, but many know me better as Klensyh or Klen. I’m a self-taught fibre artist from Finland who fell in love with the art of the craft of knitting and crochet after the pandemic had settled. It all started with a pair of socks from which I quickly moved to larger garments such as cardigans and sweaters. However, I wished to find a way to share my art of fibre arts when IRL couldn't provide that for me, and in March of 2024 I decided to start streaming on Twitch. Ever since I've slowly fallen in love with fibre arts and content creation more and more. So much so that in 2025 I set up my own business under the name of Klensyh.
My stream started off as a place where I could share my art to likeminded people. Currently, as more people find their way to my little corner on the internet, my goal is to uplift the Makers & Crafting category on Twitch by inspiring and educating others about fibre arts and how everyone can start doing it; it's not just for old ladies! My space is community-focused and I love seeing my viewers share their art and how they experiment with different media. Inspiring others to try various crafts is what keeps me going because it inspires me to keep streaming.
Outside of Streams
Many of you know Klen, but do you know Arsi, the man outside of streams? I'm in my late twenties, graduated from the University of Oulu in December of 2024, and now teach English as a foreign language for Finnish Upper Secondary students!
Back in University my major was the English language, and as my minors I studied Pedagogics, Psychology (another subject I'm qualified to teach) as well as International Business Communication. During my studies I also did theatre as an actor and a director, was part of the board for the Language Students' organization for three years, once as the chair of the board, and enjoyed being a student; my party record can speak for itself.
In addition to fibre arts, I enjoy gaming, reading, playing the guitar... Many of which I don't really get to do nowadays. Why? Most of my time I spend either crafting or with my menace of a cat, Felix. I enjoy a chill life but I keep myself busy with work. I recently moved to a new town and I'm still getting acquainted with my new surroundings and people around me. Hence why I don't feel the need for anything more grand; I like it simple.
